Last Day of School Parties

Kylie had an ice cream Sundae party on her last day of school :) I got to come in and help serve the kiddos - they loved that they got two servings of sundaes! What a great year Kylie had!!!

Jack had a pizza and ice cream party right after Kylie's, so I went and helped out with the pizza part :). He had a great year, too, with a great teacher and good buddies!

Last Day of School

It's the Last Day of School for our 2nd grader, 4th grader...

...and our 6th grader!!!

Jack's Field Day

Jack had his Field Day on Monday.  It was significantly warmer than Kylie's was on Friday!  I worked at the "New York" station where we had a Home Run Derby because of the Baseball Hall of Fame located in Cooperstown, NY!  The kids had a tball stand, a wiffle bat and a wiffle ball and the goal was to hit it over the fence!  It was a blast - and Jack had a great time with his good buddies!

Smokin' in the Carolinas

Brian, Dan and Grandad went on a cigar weekend hosted by JR's called Smokin in the Carolinas!  They purchased tickets for the event and drove down to it. There were a whole slew of vendors who had cigars there and the guys were given maybe 20 cigars to start and then a checklist of 20 more vendors they were supposed to walk around to to get 20 more cigars! Plus an included BBQ buffet lunch! They also got a free bag, umbrella, lighter, cigar cutters and more!  They had a great time!!!

And the next day they stopped by our old house that I lived in from birth until right before kindergarten began!

Sunday

On Sunday we celebrated this little ones 1st Birthday!

Friday and Saturday

Friday night, while Megan spent the night at a friends' house, Jack and Dan played video games inside and Kylie played kickball outside with our neighborhood!

There were three dads involved and they cracked us up with how involved they were :)

On Saturday morning, these girlies got to hold her, too!

We cheered on Megan in her last spring volleyball game!  They won all three sets and came in third overall! She rocked her serves!

And I got to hold Squidgie that evening while we all played outside and enjoyed our neighbors - and fireworks and campfire with s'mores' 

Kylie's Field Day

Kylie had her Field Day last Friday! Her class had a great time going through 14 different stations and water activities!  All the stations were based on states - like at Maryland they had to put a wet sponge on their stomachs and crab walk to a bucket where they squeezed out the water! I worked at Minnesota where it has the lowest average temp of the 48 continental states - so I handed out Popsicles and chilly water to the kiddos :)

She had a great time, but it was chilly (70F) and all the kids had goose bumps and were so cold being wet!
