The whole crew our first night there as we were walking out to see the dock!
We went to Deep Creek Lake, Maryland for a week with Mom Mom, Pappy, Uncle Matt, Aunt Tiff and their kiddos! We had a great house right off the lake with a floating dock that all the kids loved jumping off and swimming at, a fun hot tub, enough beds for everyone and a great place to hang out! We rented a pontoon boat one morning and took turns tubing on it, took turns making dinners, went to an arcade and small fun land, roasted S'mores, the girls put on plays courtesy of the Sugar and Spice Theater Company, the boys played games of Monopoly and xBox, the grown-ups played Settlers, Apples to Apples and Scattergories, Dan and I had a great Date Night out and we just had a fun time being there!

We walked down to the dock and I let Jack jump in, which resulted in all the kids jumping in :) They had so much fun - it would have been better if there was a ladder there, but we hauled each one up when they wanted!

We took the kids one rainy morning to the Discovery Center there and listened to a talk on amphibians...and met their bullfrog and made bullfrog hats! The lady was so great and did a terrific job of making it interesting for the kiddos (and parents)!

Dan and I on our date night to Mountain Brewing Company! Yummy homemade hummus and olive tapanade, yummy micro brew beer, yummy sweet tea and a great hand tossed flatbread pizza called "Fire on the Mountain!"
