Flashback - April Kid's Extended PE Day

I never got a chance to post pictures of Megan and Jack's Extended PE Days back in April - before Megan broke her arm! They had a 2 hour PE class with an obstacle course, skills workshops and games of dodge ball! Kylie and I got to come, watch and even participate in the dodge ball games! They did a great job and it was a ton of fun!

Jack in mid air taking a flying leap!

Jumping little hurdles

Practicing his dribbling skills

Running through

Helping collect balls and set up the nets for a game. I was so impressed by both Megan and Jack at how they helped gather balls for their groups/teams during each game/skill. They were great team players and helpers!

Showing off his impressive hula hooping skills! He was amazing! Walking around, talking to friends and still keeping it going!

And the best part: Free fruit smoothies afterwards!

Climbing the rock wall

Throwing to knock down pins

In mid air to jump!

And her class! They did a great job!

What Happened while I was Away!

Kids after school to Amy and Ken's. Dan getting kids off to school in the mornings before driving into work. Megan and Jack slept together either. Amy feeding Dan and the kids. The kids and K. Som running our Yard Sale while Dan was at an elder's meeting! Megan had her cast taken off, x-rayed and a shorter cast put on. Dan and the kids went to see Thor. They celebrated Mother's Day without me. Watched Star Wars Episode III (with bad parts fast-forwarded) and began Star Wars Episode IV! Did great!

Megan and Jack with money they made during our Yard Sale! K. Som said that Jack kept counting the money :) Dan put out some bikes we no longer needed, including a little pink one we were saving for our little friend Jaya - K. Som saw it and explained to Dan that we were saving it to give to Jaya :) Good K. Som for knowing what I was going to do with the bike! The kids made a little over 3000B, which will go towards our friends Mr. Matt and Miss Tricia as they work towards adopting a sweet little one!

The random leftovers after the yard sale!

"Tweeter Central"
Dan purchased a monitor to go with his little travel laptop so Megan could do her school work while I was gone and had our normal laptop with me!

Mother's Day at church - Megan and Jack got to go up front and help hand out pink roses to all the Momma's!

Jack with my sweet Pink Rose!

Arriving at the hospital for Megan's appt to get her arm checked out! And they parked on my favorite level - 7 - because it's turquoise!

They cut off her cast, washed her arm well (because it was pretty gross), x-rayed it and put on a shorter cast!

Ta Da! Megan with her new arm!

Life Group Tuesday night celebrating Jay and Nhora's 25th Anniversary!

And random Grass Jelly drinks Dan received after filling up his gas tank at the gas station - normally we get large bottles of water for every $30 we spend! Weird!

Visiting Grammy and Grandad

Kylie and I flew back to Virginia this past week to spend some time with my parents. It was good to be back there and I'm so thankful I took Kylie with me! She was a trooper on a 10 day round trip, including flights that took 30 hours door-to-door to get there and 40 hours and a tour through Tokyo to get back home! Dan stayed in Bangkok with the big kids and Amy and Ken helped watch Megan and Jack after school until Dan was done with work each day! We had a great time...

Gum? Check. Pink Blankie? Check. Peppermint Pig? Check.

Dinner in Dallas - yummy Wendy's!

Bugga and Grammy on our first morning there! In the middle of making yummy orange cinnamon buns!

Picnic on Grammy and Grandad's patio :)

Hannah, Laura, Kylie and Mikey playing on the sidelines at Josh's soccer game! (Sammi was snuggling Matt during naptime in a chair)

Fabulous shoes we contemplated buying, came back later in the week with Grammy and decided against, because they didn't fit her right...but they looked adorable!

A cute pair! With no Megan and no Jack, Kylie and Cole had a fun time playing together! She was scratching his back (a sure way to his heart) and smiled for the picture!

Grandad and Grammy out for dinner at a wonderful place called Magnolia's at the Mill in Purcellville!

Cole, Hannah and Kylie after putting on a play for us on Mother's Day :) Hannah was a trooper and it starred Hedgie, Seaweed and a Mouse!

Heather and I at Magnolia's at the Mill

Grammy with her 2 oldest granddaughter's - Abby and Hannah

Napping while I was running errands!

On our way to dinner with Grammy and Grandad for Grammy's birthday!

Happy Birthday Grammy!

She thought she was hot stuff with her cup and a coffee-like lid :)

Dinner at Anita's, our last night there

Mac-n-cheese in Dallas at Bennigans!

Coloring a pretty picture in the airport

Japanese Hello Kitty in a kimono

Bugga waiting for our bus to take us 1 1/2 hours away to a different airport in Tokyo! We beat Dan to that airport - he's never flown out of it!

And our final leg home after a loooong journey! Kylie was so good traveling - we weren't sure whether we would have to stay overnight in Tokyo and she kept saying, "That's okay, maybe we can sleep on a seat in the airport or something!"
