My niece, Abby, had a great senior volleyball season! They won States!!! We are so proud of her and all of her hard work over the last couple of years. It was wonderful to be able to cheer her on whenever we could! The pic above is her cheering section at the Regional finals against Potomac Falls. They lost, but played great!
Max and Kylie cheering their cousin on!
The score in the the 3rd set after Abby served 13 straight in a row - including a few aces!
The next game was the State Semi's at Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach! We all met at Mark and Heather's to watch it live streaming - and went crazy when they won and knew they were going to states!
The crew nervously watching...but then this happened when they WON!
I'm not sure we could have been more excited!
They then went on to play at VCU for the State Championship!
Mom Mom and Pappy came and celebrated Veterans Day with us at Kylie's Veterans Day Concert! The 4th grade did a great job of honoring veterans and singing from their heart. They sang each of the theme songs from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and Marines and had the veterans stand when their song came on. They sang other American classics and did a wonderful job!

At the end they had little red, white and blue lights to make the American flag
So fun!

Then they ate lunch with her! She was VERY happy to have them!
Kylie's team won both games on the final weekend and played great! She had 2 great coaches who were fun, but kept the girls focused and learning a lot. At one of the final games we played against a set of coaches who were not that nice - yelling at the girls and making fun of them. It made us SUPER thankful for a set of coaches who don't yell at the girls, but encourage them and keep their cool at all times!
Jack's team made it to the boys finals and didn't win, but played great for it being almost all of their first season!
Their medals for 2nd place!
Megan made it to the semi finals for her Open 1 bracket and didn't win, but they played great all season as a team!

And the amazing bonfire at Kylie's team gathering - with cool green flames!
Our friends called us to say that they would be in the area and would love to introduce us to their little one! I had been at her baby shower, but hadn't gotten a chance to meet this sweet little girl yet! The kids and I fell in love with her (Dan was out of town) :) She is so sweet and outgoing and had a chance to play with Kylie's sweet little music table one last time before we sold it the next day!
Then her mom sent me the following pictures :)

Happily standing in the book basket we gave her - after she took out all the books!
