Malone part 5 - Rail Explorers

We went to the Saranac Depot to go on the Rail Explorers excursion!  We got to ride on 3 4-person rail bikes and 1 2-person bike!  It was amazing!  We peddled on railways from Saranac to Lake Clear and then got a shuttle back.  It was gorgeous and cooler in the shade.  It smelled like fresh pine as we wound through the forest and it was so beautiful!

We drove out to Lake Placid to see if we could do some quick shopping before going on the rail excursion we had planned that afternoon!  The Ironman Triathlon was that day, so Lake Placid was gorgeous, but PACKED!  We stopped at a mini golf place to play a round before heading to the rail excursion!  It was so fun!

Malone part 3

Carsada built a new milking parlor last year!  It is amazing and crazy and beautiful!  They really designed the outside of the new parlor and barns to look beautiful as well as be super functional.  The family was getting pictures taken for their co-op, so we took some pictures before they were ready and then helped the photographer just a tiny bit while he did his magic!

Malone part 2 - Gram

We love seeing Gram, spending time with her and taking her out to lunch and to church!  This year, we got to take her to Bokie's for lunch (Michigan's and Poutine - yum!) and get subs from D&M that we took back to her place.  We also got to take her to purchase groceries at Aldi's!  She is always so kind to us and so caring!
