My family had "Christmas" Sunday with Brian, Sarah and Max, who took his first trip up to visit Grammy and Grandad. All the cousins were there (who look so old) and my Aunt Ann came over to my parent's for lunch with everyone!

Family Pics and Friends
We had Matt and Tricia over tonight for dinner and Seafarers/Knights and Castles of Catan. So fun eventhough Matt and Tricia won both times. Seriously, Dan and I need to step up our game. I'm pretty much useless because I just want to talk the whole time (Dan says it's because I'm just so excited for grown-up conversation - definitely so true). Anyway, fun night with fun friends. And, Jack got to play Xbox on the big TV with Mr. Matt and Daddy - Star Wars Battlefront. Here they are playing. Jack in all his glory.

And these last pictures just because. My Dad's new(er) recliner and my Mom's table she set for Christmas. She always does such a nice job of it to make it look festive and special. (And now she'll probably cry that I wrote that about her and am not there to enjoy it!) :)

Kylie's Day
A totally "Kylie" day. Ate brownies instead of birthday cake (Kylie's choice), watched Barbie Rapunzel (Kylie's choice), had Starbuck's for breakfast (Kylie's choice), went to Burger King for dinner (Kylie's choice) and played on the rocks (also Kylie's choice). Do you see a theme? She got to choose everything and had a blast doing it!

Then Sunday after church, we went to Que Pasa for lunch and played on their playground! Fun swings! And 1 scary slide for Kylie :)

Hi, my name is Kylie
And I'm the Birthday Girl because today I turned 3!!! It's my birthday!!!
Job: I don't have a job! I stay home with Mommy!
Nicknames: Kylie Grace, Bugga, Budja, the Budj, Kylie Bug, Bugga Grace (for when she gets in trouble instead of Kylie Grace)Interests: Having Mommy all to myself,
'nuggling, wrestling Daddy, reading books to Mommy and having people read them to me, coloring pictures, kicking the soccer ball (I'm the best kicker in the family), swimming, playing with Moo and Jack, snacking throughout the day, Disney princesses, Barbie, singing, dancing, playing with babies and talking all the time.
Favorite Foods: Brownies, speghetti, broccoli soup, hot dogs, KETCHUP, coffee and a cinnamon bun from Starbucks with Mommy, goldfish, artichokes, pizza, vegetable fried rice, ice cream, m&m's, iced tea, mango, watermelon, pineapple.
Favorite Sayings: My Birthday's after Christmas, You Decorated??? (outside her room this morning, so she would have to walk through it), call me the Birthday Girl. I 'mell somepin. My tummy's hungry. Also, here, here, here, here and here.
How I wake up in the morning: By either singing (this morning it was Jingle Bells) or calling "Mommy.....Mommy". Pretty much always
What I want to be when I grow up: A Princess.
Stories I like to tell Mommy at lunch: I give her a choice of either a Jesus story or a Princess story. My princess story is normally about King Daddy, Queen Mommy, Prince Jacky and Princess Moo.
Words I find funny: Poopie, stinky heiney, toot, panties, underware.
Words I substitute for "funny" words when I get in trouble with Mommy for saying them: Mommy's hair (as in, "That's so stinky...like poopie - oops! - like Mommy's hair!"), Mommy's arm, Mommy's eye, Mommy's nose.
Things I want you to know about me: I know, I'm gorgeous! (and humble), that I have a definite opinion about everything, that I am very LOUD, that I have a great laugh and find stinky words funny, that I'm mostly in a good mood (but like to say, "Stop that Mommy, I'm getting a-ger-a-vated"), that I talk non-stop, I like to shop with Mommy and I have a pretty happy personality. That Mommy is continually thankful for me and is so glad we had a 3rd child!!!

Christmas
I feel stressed that I need to post Christmas pictures. We had a good day here, just hung out and opened presents throughout the day. Presents from us this morning, presents from Grammy and Grandad after breakfast and presents from Mom Mom and Pappy after dinner! Thank you guys for all the wonderful stuff, everything was a huge hit!
Brian called at 1:45pm (1:45AM his time) to wish us a Merry Christmas (Sarah was up feeding Max, so Brian figured he would get up and call us!)! So fun! I ran to the grocery store (because we hadn't been in forever with the kids sick) and picked up turkey cold cuts for lunch. Not exciting for the rest of you there in the States, but the 1st time we've had them here in Thailand. They are expensive ($10 for a 1/4 lb of Oscar Meyer Turkey). So, we got to make yummy sandwiches with lettuce and tomato and had grapes (another splurge at $10 for a bunch) for Christmas lunch! We had a ham dinner and just had a good time playing with presents and hanging out...A good family day and a great day to have Dan home to celebrate Jesus' birthday!

Night before Christmas in Bangkok
Not a creature was stirring, not even the geckos;
The stockings were hung by the staircase with care,
In hopes that Christmas soon would be there;
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of presents danced in their heads;
And Mom in her flip flops, and Dad in his cap,
Had just settled down for a long dry season's nap.
Merry Christmas Eve from Bangkok, Thailand! We opened our stockings, a wonderful care package full of fun stuff from our good friends Greg, Melissa, Michael and Matthew (thank you so much guys...we love the gingerbread house, the coloring books and the fun markers and glitter glue!!! you guys are awesome and so so thoughtful!!!), our presents from Matt and Tiff and crew and went to the Christmas Eve service at our church (after dinner at our favorite pizza place) and got to see good, good friends there! Merry Christmas to everyone! (it's already Christmas morning here, and we'll post about that later!)
