Here's a little bit about me:
Job: I'm in the 4th grade. I have a lot of friends. Sometimes when we normally have snack we get to read for a half an hour. I like my teacher, she's really nice. I really like PE because we do this big station pattern. It includes stretching, weight-lifting, step boxes and jump roping. I don't like music because we have to be tested in singing with just one other person in front of the whole classroom. I like learning about social studies and Virginia History this year.
Books that I love: Rangers Apprentice series, How to Train your Dragon series, Brotherband Chronicles series, Adventures of Ordinary Boy series, The Roman Mystery series, the Hardy Boys series. Blood on the River, the Great Turkey Walk.
Favorite things to do: Play XBox, play Legos, read books and comics, play soccer, ride my bike, play football at recess.
Least favorite things to do: Sing in front of other people.
Favorite Sayings: What's the temperature outside? Can I play xBox? Can I have gum? I don't like Music. Can I go on a bike ride? Can we watch Captain America (turns out the Red Skeleton is too scary for him, but we watched up until that part)?
Favorite shows or movies: Narnia movies, Xmen movies, Star Wars movies and Clone Wars, Good Luck Charlie, Ultimate Spiderman, Avenger, Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Theater (the unscary parts).
Favorite Foods: Macaroni and cheese, stuffing, noodle soup, hot dogs, Double Cheesy Beef burrito from Taco Bell in Kuwait, Loaded Potato Burrito from Taco Bell in America, fruit snacks, pineapple, strawberries with powdered sugar, hot chocolate, gum.
Closest Buddies: Ben, Blake, Zachary, Saurov, Cole and Josh. Bader S, Talib, Gun Ha, Abdullah, Essa from Kuwait.
What I want to be when I grow up: An Embassy Worker. I like to travel around in planes and because you have a really good salary.
Things I did when I was 9: Rode a camel, swam in the Persian/Arabian Gulf, got glasses, discovered Minecraft, learned to swim freestyle and backstroke really well, learned to play a basic drum beat, went to school in the US for the first time ever, got to be a Ring Bearer and had a snowball fight with Uncle Chuck and Aunt Sheri, learned Arabic, started sleeping on the top bunk of bunk beds (Kylie's on the bottom), made the All-Star soccer team and started helping out in the 2-3 year old class at church!
Why Mommy loves me: Because I am smart and strong and helpful and kind. I am a good helper around the house. I still like sharing a room with Kylie. I like to get my homework done as soon as I get home so it's done and finished and I have time to play xBox or go outside. Because I help out in the 2-3 year old classroom at church and there are a couple of little boys who love me and love that I'm in there. Because I want to be like my Dad when I grow up. Because I'm always freezing when I wake up (in the Fall/Winter) and I bundle up to eat breakfast but don't wear a heavy jacket so far to school. Because I'm willing to try new things and new foods even through I'm nervous about it at first. Because I love to read and we have a hard time finding enough books for me. Because I'm a super great hugger. Because I still love my Mommy's hair, playing Legos with Megan, sharing a room with Kylie and playing anything with my Dad. Because I still sleep with Cheetah. Because I'm me!!!
Happy Birthday Jack!!! We love you so much and are so proud of you!!!
