Open Arms Gala

Dan and I had the privilege of attending a gala for a non-profit organization that a friend of ours started and runs.  The gala was at the Wolf Trap Educational center.  We got all dressed up and had a great time.  It was great to hear about the work the organization is doing and how they are helping impoverished and underprivileged communities in Brazil and here in our local area! 

Grammy and Grandad watched the kiddos and Beau so we could go, so we took pics outside of their house!

Ida Lee Water Park

We went to Ida Lee Waterpark the other week!  It was gorgeous out, but maybe 83F, so it seemed cold!  The wind was blowing all day and we had a fun time until we were too cold!  Kylie lost her goggle and after 3 laps of searching in the lazy river, Jack found them!

And this is Jack's 5th grade class of Rising 6th Graders!  Last weekend was their last weekend in Quest and the whole Quest prayed for them as they get ready to move up to middle school!

Great Falls Hike

 The kids and I went to Great Falls to go hike along the Falls!  It was super hot, but a gorgeous day.  Kylie couldn't handle the heat, but we fixed it with a wet bandanna around her neck and then she was fine.  It was neat to see the falls and then hike on the trail, following the green marks along the way!

Malone part7 - The Rest

We went up on the North Bangor Hill - aka the Perry Road.  Gorgeous views of the Adirondacks and the St. Lawrence Seaway!  

After we took the before pic and got in the car, a guy who lives at the top came running over with a camera case, motioning to us!  We got out and chatted with him.  He offered to take our picture (with his nice camera) and email it to us!  He lives at the top in a new house (that is beautiful), bought up 60 acres of land up there and is a software developer.  He sent us the pic below that night...

And it is gorgeous!

 Sam bought a new bike since last summer and he said Dan could take it for a spin, so Dan took it out Sunday while Kris showed us Sam and Bridge's house!

 Then Kylie got to sit on it while he turned around in the driveway...
