Camp Flintlock

Kylie had a field trip at her school for Virginia Studies - Camp Flintlock!  They come and teach the kids through hands on experiences about Colonial Virginia!  They make glass bead necklaces, leather bound journals, candles, play colonial games and dress up!  I got to help kids make the glass bead necklaces and it was a great day!

CHRVA Regionals

Megan played in the CHRVA Regional Tournament!  They did great and ended up coming away with the Gold in the Silver Bracket!

Mother/Son Guns 'n Roses Night

Our church does a Mother/Son Guns 'n Roses night at the church!  Jack and I got to go shoot some air soft guns, do a nerf gun war, the moms got to listen to another mom share her experience of raising boys, then the boys each wrote a note to their moms (so sweet!) and gave us a rose (!) and asked us to dance!  We got to slow dance to What a Wonderful World, then fast dance, then do another slow dance!  It was a great, fun night to be out with Jack!

Happenings

Jack started Flag Football (Go Steelers!)!  His first game was bitterly cold!  He's on the left in the black hat.

Megan and Kylie tried to bundle up as much as they could, but it was crazy cold out!

Our friend, Ava, was one of Ariel's sisters in the Little Mermaid!  We got to go and LOVED seeing her in it!  It was done so well and so fun to see them all perform!
