Malone part 2 - Graduation

Graduation was on the football field at FA! It was beautiful, but hot out - and we ended up getting burnt - but it was great to cheer on Aaron!  We got to hear his good buddy give a speech, as well as the President of the Malone CSD, which was actually a great speech and maybe one I'll actually remember!

Malone part 1 - Drive and first days

We got to drive up to Malone for Aaron's graduation from high school! We've made it for Anissa's, Carl's and Sam's and wanted to make sure we were there for Aaron's, too!

It was a quick and easy 10 hour drive with three stops - one at a Cracker Barrel for breakfast in Schyullkill, one in Binghamton for gas and a potty break and one at McDonalds for ice cream and a potty break! We have always stopped at Sugar Creek in Watertown, but it was closed :(

We arrived around 6pm, got pizzas for dinner with Dave, Aaron, Carl and Sam, then took Gram out to lunch the next day, ran some errands, helped set up for the graduation party, went to dinner at Bokies and had s'mores by the fire that night!

Squidgie and Summer Happenings

This little one and her family are moving - and we've enjoyed being friends with them the last year! We're gonna miss her, her big sisters and her parents!!!

Megan got to go be a helper for her at the pool the other week - as a babysitter! She got to swim for hours, help watch the 3 girls and get paid while having fun!

My little kiddos in the shopping cart at walmart :)

Sound asleep on the way home from church because they are going to bed at 10pm and still waking up at 6:10am every morning!

Cutie

We got to babysit her for three days while her parents did their big pack out with movers - and had Cole and Mary Kate for the day, too! So we ran to Wegmans really quick to get groceries for lunch!

Squidgie loved Kylie - so much that at times when she was fussy, she ONLY wanted Kylie!!!

So sweet sound asleep on our car!

Seeing Friends

After graduation we got to meet up with our friends transiting through here home from Kuwait!  It was great to see them and catch up with them! We've missed them this year and the kiddos are soooo big!

Everyone was happy with ice cream :) and Kylie had a fun time taking Myriah on the playground!

Elliot loved his first official ice cream cone all by himself :)

Hannah's Graduation

My niece Hannah graduated from high school last week! We got to go to her graduation at the Patriot Center!

It was shorter than we thought it would be and fun to hear the speeches and songs...and hear her name called out when she got to walk!

Last Day of School Celebration!!!

As a very special treat for our kids doing so well this school year, we wanted to plan a special dinner out for them. We told them that we were doing something special for dinner, but kept where it was a surprise!  We did tell them they needed to dress fancy and that they had never been there before - and that Dan and I had only been there once before!

We actually went to Five Below first and gave the kids $10 each to spend on anything they wanted for summer for our neighborhood or family vacations. They purchased 2 boogie boards, 3 inflatable rafts, a jump rope and a bucket and shovel!

Then we headed to our dinner reservation at Kobe's Japanese Restaurant!  It's the kind if place where they cook the food right in front of you.  We all loved it and had a great time - and it was delicious!
