Our first family birthday back in the States - Jack's Hokie Football Party for his 10th Birthday!
We decorated with lots of Hokie chicago maroon and burnt orange and lots of Hokie tshirts!
I couldn't figure out a good table runner...until I remembered our awesome Thai table runners that we purchased in Thailand for exactly this reason - Hokie football games!
We strung up Hokie football shirts to decorate with...because we have a ton of them!
And pulled some random fun VT items to round it out!
Our cute family
I was going to make a football cake but went to the store to get the ingredients and they were selling the exact one I was going to make - so it was perfect!
Fun cups and mugs and Hokie utensils!
Jack had 4 boys come over - and we took them up to the elementary school to play touch football! It was "Family" vs. "Friends"! Dan played on a team with Josh and Jack. Then Blake, Ben and Saurav were the other team! They had a blast!
It was a bit wet out from rain earlier in the week and the boys were doing a lot of slipping...
But made some awesome plays!

I love this picture of Josh running for the ball that Dan is about to pass!
The girlies played on the playground while the boys played football
Then we came back to our house for pizza, strawberries and powdered sugar!
We opened presents
Then ate some yummy pizza!
Dan and I set up some passing drills in the basement - they had to pass through a shower curtain with squares (and Hokie Duct Tape) of different sizes, they had to knock down cans and then they had to knock over boxes!
Blake's great shot with cans flying!
