Children's Choir

Kylie has been practicing with the Children's Choir at church!  She loves it, but had missed 2 practices due to us being sick with various colds.  She got to perform in front of the church and did a great job!

Christmas Parade

We knew there was going to be a Christmas Parade downtown and I had talked about us going for a while...but at 5:45pm that night I remembered again and rallied our troops to head out and watch it!  We bundled up and had a great time!  It was cold, but not windy, so it was doable!  We brought Beau and had such a fun night!  They handed out tons of candy (Bugga was making a killing on candy by wishing everyone in the parade a Merry Christmas!)!  We got to see friends who were in the parade and say hi to them!

Fifth Grade Christmas Night

Jack had a 5th grade Christmas Gathering at church!  Kylie and I helped out while Megan went to volleyball practice down the street!  We were early, so we helped set up!  Kylie organized all the drinks and Jack organized a tower of cookies!  We had 38 kids there - and they got to decorate cookies for a contest, do a wrapping present game, eat snacks, learn about the meaning of Christmas and make plates of cookies to share with friends!

Megan's Winter Chorus Concert

Megan had her Christmas Chorus Concert and did a great job!  It was so fun to see her perform and see all her friends!

Grandad came to cheer her on - Grammy wasn't feeling too well.

Christmas decorating 2014

Our beautiful Christmas Tree!  We switched some things out this year since we have a new puppy - and I was worried about how he would do with ornaments and a tree skirt and the tree.  We didn't add our breakable ornaments so if Beau knocked the tree over, we wouldn't get them broken.  We used a round tablecloth instead of our normal Christmas tree skirt so it was easily washable..,and we really made sure there weren't any irreplaceable ornaments within biting reach :)

Our fun bamboo ladder decorated with our Christmas pudding on the floor.

And our cute kiddos having dessert and all reading at the table!

Bethesda

I won tickets to the Trans Siberian Orchestra concert a couple of weeks back on 97.1 (caller #9 - first time I had called a radio station since requesting Aerosmith's Janie's Got a Gun in 7th grade).  The bummer was that I had to drive to Bethesda to pick them up.  Dan took off on a Tuesday just to have the day off and we drove over (I was going to go by myself - but he happened to be home)!  It was a fun date morning!  We picked up the tickets and got to look around the REI store while we were there - Dan's favorite!

He tried on a new hoodie, but we passed it up :)

Buggas Glasses

Kylie Grace got glasses to see far away!  We picked them out at Target and she looks so sweet in them!  Plus, she can see!  So, double bonus!

She just looks so cute in them and I love them - they are dark purple with little sequin flowers on the side - so her!

Love her outfits!
