Megan played in the Capital Classic - a 3 day tournament in DC! It was bitterly cold the whole weekend and an adventure trying to drive in, park and play! They played well the whole weekend - had some wins and some losses. It was fun to cheer them on, see the 119 courts set up and the 900 teams playing ages 12-19! We got to see Abby and MK, too!
The first day Dan dropped me, Megan and Emma off at the front of the convention center and he went and parked. The second day it was me and the girls. We parked and had to walk to the convention center - it was soooooooo cold! That second day, when we left - I got turned around and walked out the wrong way. We ended up SW of where we wanted to be and had to walk for 18 minutes in the freezing (below freezing, crazy windy) weather. We finally made it to the car, but it was harrowing. The third day we drove Heather and Cole in, too! We dropped the kids off at the convention center with Mark, who had been there for hours already and Heath and I parked and walked! It was crazy!
Time out
Megan dropped on the floor when we made it inside, because it was so cold out!

Cool compass
Megan didn't want to wear a hat and look "stupid" so instead she wore her blanket to try to keep warm :)
