Jack's End of the Year Party

We got to help organize, set up and run the End of the Year party for Jack!  The ladies who put it together did a great job of Artic Blast and the kids had a blast!  Dan was able to take the day off to come and be a part of it (and run Just Dance for all the kids, too)!

Then later that day, we had planned on taking Michaela and Ben tubing with us, but we couldn't make it in time, so we tried Ida Lee :)  It lasted for about 45 min before a massive storm hit!  We went to Chick fil a for dinner!

Dan took Beau on a walk one day trying to go "before the storm hit" and got caught in it - BAD :)  Thankfully it was just a crazy downpour and not a thunder and lightning storm!

Field Day

Jack and Kylie had field day on the same day this year!  Dan was supposed to help out at it, but it got postponed due to rain and rescheduled and he wasn't able to make it.  I got to run the Freezie Pop Tent and stay in the shade!  The kids had a blast and it was fun to see them having so much fun on a crazy hot day!

Then afterwards we had these two boys come home with us and go swim at the pool in their clothes that were already soaked from Field Day!

Our friends from Kuwait were back in the States for a bit and celebrated their youngest's birthday!  The kiddos and I got to go and celebrate with her :)

Smokin' in the Carolinas

Grandad, Brian and Dan went to a Cigar festival last year at JR's Cigars in North Carolina and loved it, so they went back again this year!  This time, they went down Friday and spent 2 nights.  They came home with 51 cigars and had a blast!  They ate yummy food and smoked 6 cigars in 24 hours :)
