Kylie decided she wanted to take her good friend to the American Girl Store for tea for her birthday instead of a birthday party! So, we had Michaela come home with Kylie on the bus, then headed out to have a great night! (Kylie lost a fight with her scooter the day before, unfortunately, so hence the sores on her face). We couldn't do tea, because we were there at the wrong time, but we had dinner and it was delicious! The girls then got to shop for a while and Kylie got Rebecca's ears pierced!

Yummy dinner! The girls had fried mac and cheese balls and pretzel bites, I had hummus, pita and veggies. Then the girls had a mini burger and mini hot dog for dinner and I had a regular burger!

Kylie got a new piggy from Michaela (and surprisingly not one she had already!)! She named him Lemon :)

New Year's Eve

Our whole family went to a friend's house on New Year's Eve! Megan hung out with her friends, Kylie played with her friends and Jack mostly hung out with Dan and their dog, but played some with the boys downstairs, too! It was a fun night to spend with neighbors!

Moments

We bought Dan this shirt for Christmas and he wore it out to see the new Star Wars movie!

We went out to CAVA as a family! It was the first time for Jack and Kylie!

Dan took the big kids one afternoon up to the school to shoot hoops and play volleyball! Megan lost her volleyball on the roof. Thankfully, Kylie is friends with the Janitor at the school at asked him the next day if he knew how to get it and he came back with it 5 minutes later! So nice of him!

Udvar Hazy

Dan took off the week after Christmas and we LOVED having him home! His goal for the week was to go to Udvar Hazy one day! We went and had a great time looking around, seeing all the planes and space shuttle. Dan's favorites there are the SR 71A Blackbird and the F-14 Tomcat. Our kiddos were so little the last time we went before we moved overseas, so it was fun to take them now that they are older!

Kylie's 10th Birthday

Kylie had a great 10th birthday! Dan took off and we offered her a number of things we could do for the day - she finally settled on going to see the new Chipmunk movie (Road Chip) in the theaters! She chose orange cinnamon rolls for breakfast, something for lunch (I don't remember) and Olive Garden for dinner! Grandad was able to meet us for dinner, but Grammy wasn't feeling good and stayed home. It was a great day!
