The National Christmas Tree

Among a million other things that I/we want to do now that we are back in the States is enjoy as much of things as we can!  I was so excited to take the kids down to see the National Christmas Tree downtown!  Dan had never been and had never heard of it - so we decided to go!

It took a while to get downtown - which is normal - and about an hour to find parking downtown on a Friday night at 5pm :)  We finally found a parking garage that would not make us valet park our car (which Dan did not want to do) and were given a short time limit to get back to get our car - so we booked it to the National Christmas tree all bundled up!  It wasn't crowded, so that was great!  It was fun to see all the Christmas trees from all the states and territories!

And Santa's workshop!  We don't really do Santa - but it was pretty empty, so we went in!  We told them they could sit on Santa's lap.  Kylie was thrilled - and Jack freaked out and didn't want to!  So we let her go first, got her picture taken and then had the big kids stand with her :)
