Nashville Family Reunion part-3 Fun Times

 We had fun playing at Jeff and Sara's house!  Lots of land for the kids to run, a sand pile to play in, a swing set, a volleyball net, a kickball field, a trampoline and bikes!  So fun!

 Dan mowed the field that Jeff had bush hogged to play kickball, but we didn't really get a chance to play.

 Dan, Jeff and Matt put the volleyball net up and measured out the court!  We had a blast playing 10 vs. 10 and were excited when a kid got the ball over the net or there was a volley!

 The first night it was kids vs. adults and then we switched it up later!

 So fun!

 Scott purchased a ton of fireworks and Jeremy and Allison brought a ton, too, so they lit lots for us to enjoy!

Nashville Family Reunion part-2 The Pool

We stayed with Scott and Ashley at their beautiful house with their beautiful pool!  The kids loved being in it all day long for many days...even when it was down pouring (but not lightning or thundering)!  All of our kiddos had fun playing with the littler kids in the pool.  Megan loved playing with Gavin the first day (which gave Allison a break to sit and chat while Jeremy had the two little ones home for naps), Jack loved all the boys and Kylie did, too! :)  Gavin introduced Kylie to Allison one day saying, "She's my new best friend!" :)

Nashville Family Reunion part-1

We drove down to Nashville, TN for our family reunion!  It is such a great time of spending time with family, having kiddos reconnect with each other, meeting new kiddos who have been born since the last reunion and making memories :)  Scott, Ashley, Jeff, Sara, Chuck and Peggi are all gracious hosts who put in a ton of work to make these reunions happen and we are so thankful for their willingness and hospitality!  We last got together 4 years ago and you can read about that here.  Jeremy is an amazing photographer, so most of the pics are from him! :)

It started out as 2 in 1944 (April 4th) with Gram and Elton getting married, then they had 3 kids, then they had 6 grandkids and now have 22 great grandchildren!  We added 6 kiddos since the last reunion 4 years ago!

Dan had a blast with Sam all weekend - lots of "Hey!"'s could be heard anytime they were around each other and there was a lot of Sam getting thrown or tickled :)

Drive to Nashville - Virginia Tech

We stopped at Virginia Tech on our drive down to Nashville!  The kids hadn't been there since 2007, I think.  It was great to stop there and show them around for an hour after we ate lunch at Macados!  Score on Megan loving Custers Last Stand, Jack loving the Coney Island and Kylie loving the Babe Ruth!
