Lumpini Park

Last Saturday we took Ken and Amy to Lumpini Park. Ken has been wanting to go there for as long as they have lived here and we figured it would be fun to take them and show them why we love it :) We carpooled down and enjoyed walking around. Amy was surprised at how pretty and clean it was...the kiddos had fun looking for monitor lizards and playing on the playground...and Dan and I had fun taking a TON of pictures! After we walked around for a couple of hours, we drove to Beirut and took them for lunch there! They had never been and we ordered an insane amount of food - grape leaves, tabouli, hummus and pita, fatayer cheese, shish taouk and shwarmas! Soooo good. My favorite quote of Ken's? "Man, you hear people talking about places, but they rarely live up to the hype." I think they liked it :) We had a great day!
