Things I like:  Riding my motorcycle, playing Minecraft, RBC/Quest, family vacations, Malone, walking Beau with my Tweeter, smoking one.

Favorite TV Shows/Movies:  The Crown, football, Man in the High Castle, Pitch Perfect 3.

Things I did while I was 41:  Toured Bletchly Park, Played in the 5th grade Kid/Parent/Teacher basketball game, went to the National Gallery of Art, took Megan driving for the first time, went Glow Golfing for the first time, visited Duke, drove the Mississippi Gulf Coast, went to New Orleans, helped Mom Mom and Pappy find a new home in WV, took Jack to Six Flags for the day, got attacked by a dog (had to get 16 stitches), flew a Mavic Pro, smoked a cigar in Vegas with Brian, took Jack and his buddies camping, bought a Nintendo Switch, took a fun ferry ride in the UK, went to Top Golf, went to a Freshman Football game with Jack, attended a men's breakfast at CFC with Jack, Josh and Matt, went to Malone for Thanksgiving (made snow angels with Kylie), made bear meat queso, got 3 bears in one day (as a group, not just me), got a bear skin rug (that Supe tanned for me), started a new job (where I have to wear a suit every day), became a Subaru man!

...And I'm the Birthday Girl because today I turn Sweet 16!

Job: 10th grade in high school, but tutor on the side

Favorite things to do: Hang out with friends, try new foods, take road trips, learn new languages, relax

Favorite Books: A Thousand Splendid Suns, Flavia de Luce series, any books about WW2 or the Holocaust

Favorite TV Shows/Movies: The Office, Sherlock Holmes, Anne of Green Gables, the Imitation Game

Favorite Foods: Tacos, queso, Mediterranean, spinach, blueberry muffins, dark chocolate, peppermint anything, mac n cheese,  pita, hummus, and carrots

What I want to be when I grow up: State Department employee, diplomat

Things I did as a 15 year old: started PT on my shoulder, got my Academic Varsity Letter for a 4.0 GPA, won the Earth Science award at school, visited my first college - Duke, visited the Mississippi Gulf Coast, New Orleans and the Werner's, enjoyed the Nashville family reunion, had a cyst in my mouth (had 1 biopsy surgery, 1 surgery to put a tube in and then 6 months later another surgery to have it removed), went to the LoCo Fair, helped Mom Mom and Pappy move into their new home and decorated their guest bedroom and bathroom, made the JV volleyball team (blew out my shoulder in a scrimmage and cheered from the side for the rest of the season), learned Russian, became Treasurer of FCCLA, officially stopped growing at 5'7'' (only kidding, that happened awhile ago), had my first major surgery (SLAP tear in my right shoulder - 4 months of recovery, 24 PT sessions, a sling and a rolling backpack), got my driver's permit, started tutoring (math), got to tour a Russian Orthodox Cathedral, went to a JMU volleyball game, went on Rockbridge Fall Weekend and Cornerstone's Winter Retreat, started going to Campaigners, attended Kelly Minter's women's retreat at RBC. 

Why my Mom loves me:  Because you are a gift to our family!  You are independent, smart, creative, great at languages and history, and driven!  You are a good friend, a great helper in the nursery at church, you were committed to being at every practice and game for your volleyball team  even though you couldn't play all season, you handled major surgery like a pro, you kick butt in school and like to be challenged, you've enjoyed tutoring kids in math and you help us be more creative in what we eat at home!  We love you Moo and are so thankful God gave you to us for our firstborn!  Happy Sweet 16!!!

...And I'm the Birthday Girl because today I turn 12!!!

Nicknames:  Bugga, Bugga Grace, Peeny, Peeny Teen, Lal, Little Lal, Lal de kal, Bee Bop, Beebie Girl, Peenycorn, Bular. 

Job: I'm in 6th grade and have to keep up with all the homework and studying I have to do as a middle school student.  I don't like school except for the after school activities.  My favorite teacher is my science teacher.  I volunteer in the 2/3's class every Sunday at church. 

Favorite Animal:  Pigs

Things I did while I was 11: Learned how to play the ukelele, got to be on the announcements at school, attended my last Daddy/Daughter Dance, got to be part of the 5th grade girls small group, attended my first college mens volleyball game at George Mason, went to Cap Classic, played in the 5th grade basketball game, graduated from the Dare program, got my own pool pass and went all summer, graduated 5th grade, went to NJ with Mom Mom and Laura and got a tour of the Bakery, went to New Orleans, went to the Lo Co Fair with Mr. John, Mrs. Ina and Max, attended Wyldlife club and brought friends, attended FCA after school, became part of a 6th grade girls Breakthru small group, Got my first overhand serve in volleyball, Started playing Clash Royale, flew a Mavic Pro for the first time, went to the museum of the Native American's on a field trip, Got straight A's in middle school, attended the nutcracker ballet to see a friend perform.

Why Mommy loves me:  Because you bring a lot of fun into our family!  Your voices and accents you do crack us up, we love hearing you play and learn your ukelele, you are so encouraging in the stands at your siblings games AND on the court of your own game (or meet), you take forever to do math, you invite as many friends as you can to Wyldlife and FCA, you stand up for what you know is right, you try to make sure everyone has a partner or a friend, you ask a million questions, you are seeking after God and trying to please Him with your choices, you pray for others on a regular basis, you are still - after 12 years - hot or cold - there is no in between.  You still love to snuggle your Mam and have Daddy and I kiss you goodnight, even though you think you may be getting too old for it - we are glad you are not!  We love you Bugga!!!  Happy 12th Birthday!

...And I'm the Birthday Boy because today I turn 14 years old!!!

Job:  I'm in 8th grade.  It is better than it was last year.  I like recess, lunch, PE and math.

Books that I love:  The Seven Realms Series, Ranger's Apprentice, CHERUB series, Alex Rider series, The Kane Chronicles, Percy Jackson, The Hunger Games, The Maze Runner series.

Favorite things to do:  Bike, video games, read, play basketball, fish at the creek, hang out with my friends.

Favorite Foods:  Spaghetti, Mac and Cheese, stuffing, 5 layer burrito from Taco Bell (minus sour cream), buffalo mac and cheese, wings, ham, meatball subs, chick fil a sandwiches, french toast casserole, pancakes.

Things I did when I was 13:  Scored first 3 pointer in a basketball game, Won CLBL championship, was a pallbearer, visited Duke, went to New Orleans and ate Beignets, caught my first fish, rode every roller coaster at Six Flags, slept with Beau on the kitchen floor for 12 straight nights, played Quarterback on flag football team, got my first fishing rod and minnow net, flew the Mavic, went camping with my Dad and friends, played at Heritage for the Middle School Band night, officially grew taller than Megan.

Why my Mammy loves me:  Because you are fun to be around, hardly have to work at anything - almost everything comes very naturally for you, you burst out into random SMO's (sudden musical outbursts) like your Dad and Grandpa, you serve in the church nursery and are great with little kids, you had a blast this summer riding your bike, playing basketball, going to the creek and swimming at the pool, you love Beausef and you love your friends!  We love you Jack!!!  We are so thankful we get to be your parents and cannot wait to see how God continues to grow you into the Man He has created you to be!!!
