We headed out on Sunday June 21st to my parent's Beach House in Lavallette, NJ! Dan's Mom and Boyd spent the first half of the week with us and then my parents came up for the second half of the week. Fun times on the beach, swimming, making sandcastles, shopping, doing the boardwalk, Uno tournaments and Scramble challenges, eating out, playing and THE MEMORY SONG (Make a Memory by Bon Jovi) which Kylie wanted to hear again and again in the car! All 3 of our kids got new hats while at the beach - Moo a Life is Good hat, Jack a camo hat from the Army Surplus store (I think we forgot to tell you that Mom Mom!) and Kylie a cute purple hat from a cute store in Point Pleasant :) Everyone loved their hats and used them at the beach, as well as just around! And Grandad got Dan a new Mt. Dew hat - and possibly the coolest hat known to man!
Got to spend a great day with family down in Bridgeton, NJ for Dan's Grandmother's 90th birthday! (we were able to be with both grandmothers for their birthdays this summer, how cool is that?) Loved seeing all the family and I didn't take 1 single picture. NOT ONE! I need to get some from others and post them later...here are some pics from the week...
Dan loves puzzles and normally only gets a chance to do one at the beach - which he loves. Each of the kids helped him and got to be a part of the "yay it's finished!" picture!

My Uncle Johnny, cousin Dave, Lindsey and Dylan came to visit the last day there - so good to see them and meet Dylan! He's adorable!

Glad that you made it back safely!! Our house is sooo quiet... LOVED having you all here and enjoyed being with the kids so much~ and ~ as usual, when you are having fun, it goes by way too fast.

Loved the kids in their hat poses -cool hat Jack! What wonderful times we had together while you were in the states. Those memories will keep me going for quite a while. Hope life is getting back to normal for you. You all did great living out of suitcases and being on the move for 4 weeks!
