Yesterday was the first day of Third Grade for Megan! Jack has his first day of First Grade today! The kids are no longer taking the bus, but riding their bikes to school! Dan practiced on Sunday with them, then stayed home in the morning to ride them to school for the first time. Kylie and I walked up with them (while they rode) today to make sure they knew what they were doing! They seem to be doing great - the guards are out in force to make sure all the bike riders are safe...and then the kiddos will meet after school and ride home together!Megan had a great first day. She likes her teacher and was worried about not having good friends in her class, but did fine and will hopefully make friends as the week goes on! Jack met his teacher yesterday and she seems nice. He doesn't have any close friends in his class, but hopefully he will make good friends as well!

Riding bikes to school. Sounds fun and another step in the kids growing up! Not surprised Dad did a trial run with them and escorted them the first day. And Mom had a nice treat waiting.Great parenting to you both! Loved all the photos as always.

so crazy to me they have started school already! I keep meaning to write to you and THANK YOU for the super gluing the crocs back together... seriously, it worked...he has been wearing them for a week. THANKS. It makes me feel so much better since I spent the money on them.
Still looking into a time to come visit... how is Feb for you all?
