Dan's "K" for KuwaitHere are some fun facts about Kuwait that you may or may not know...and we're just finding out:
-Kuwait is the size of New Jersey
-It is currently 120 degrees F there with 6% humidity
-There is a 12 hour direct flight from DC to Kuwait City
-There is an Ikea in Kuwait City
-The work and school week are Sunday-Thursday (with Friday and Saturday being the weekend)
-It is a Muslim country, so alcohol and pork products are banned there
-No mention of pigs or Israel are allowed in the schools or textbooks

a 12 hour direct flight --- yeah!!!! I have already read my first library book on Kuwait. We are happy it is a 2 year tour.
